Re: OPUS Lost City
Smoked part one of these last night. The first two thirds was one of the the greatest smoking experiences that I've ever had, which was odd considering I hate Opus. Soft woodiness with peppery undertones and a warm sweetness that was reminiscent of raisins and white grape juice (I **** you not).
There was also a warmth from the pepper that stayed with you after the exhale that had some beefy spicy components to it. In the last third it petered out dramatically to plain simple woody flavors. Also the first 2/3s were showed no complexity over time, it was just as I described it. |
