I don't know if I saw right, but the Eagle rare at Buster's was 90-something a bottle and the Rare breed was under 60.
Maybe it was an older bottle of ER. Don't they bottle by year? By the way, Brian, looking forward to tasting that Pappy
stuff. The 4 Roses, too. Hell I am just excited about the Shack in general, lol.

That is not to say I won't show up with a bottle of it if the list never gets any. I am just shockingly broke right now. Ever notice how some people all think a three payday month is some kind of windfall, but people with experience know you are NEVER broker than after a three payday month. I have a large cushion and all, don't leave home without it, but my allowance that I give to myself is long since spent. Damn Diplomaticos #5 onsale.

BTW, I have seen people on the bourbon thread with both, and I guess they are both good anyway. But is this one of the whiskeys that people say, 10 is as good as 17? You know how some superaged liquors aren't always better for the money? (BTW, I think I also know the answer to this one, lol.)

I spoke with some of the guys involved in this and if you bring a bottle, have some info about the bourbon you are serving. This should give a nice insight for those tasting. Im not thinking about a some presentation, but a few words of the age, distillery, alcohol content etc.

Most of the single barrel bottles should have some good info on them(alcohol %, distillery, barrel #, etc.), but tasting notes might help for people as well.

Here's a link to a sale list (not a stock list, they have tons of stuff available not on this list, but those are not on sale for the week) for the county liquor stores near my house.
