I've thought about the cooler option, but I'm not sure the wife would agree to a large Coleman hanging around the living room or bedroom. Maybe I could convince her to let me replace my bedside table with it. :D

I keep mine in my home office. Just shoved it in the closet.

Been making the most out of this Coleman 28 quart cooler. It has been working out very nicely so far but I will need to get myself and big one eventually.

Here is the cooler and my desktop humi

Some beads and boxes at the bottom.

http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...ps470d51e8.jpg

Then I have two trays for the rest

I've been surprised about how much I can fit in here. At this point I could fit two more trays or two more boxes.

Then I have my desktop humi too.

I know the seal isn't the best but I'll put some food grade caulking on it and it will be fine I'm sure.

Adam did you make that yourself, or did you go through a professional? The quality looks top notch.

While mine is not as impressive as Adam's, it does serve it's purpose.

There are days when looking is every bit as satisfying as smoking.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps1c83ef43.jpg

The tall cabinet on the left is the custom MXT that Bob Staebell built for me. On the credenza on the left is the desktop Bob also built to match the MXT and was gifted to me by some amazing inmates. On the right is the Cohiba 35 Anniversario Humidor (without the original sticks) that I picked up at SoCal this year.

The two desktops have been holding rock solid humidity for several weeks without any active or passive devices. I'm very happy.

That MXT is a thing of beauty

And he already has beads in it to balance it out.

I see all of these upright coolerdor's so I thought I'd top my setup from back at this post:

http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showpo...postcount=2189

I had been using coolers since 97 and just took it to the next level. Bought it brand new, scratch/dent for under $500. The compressor has an on/off dial, so it stays off but I keep it plugged in for the light.

As you can see in the last pic, there are movable shelves on the inside of the door. I have about 4lbs of beads dispersed across all levels of the shelves so that when I close the door every level has some beads. Been using this now for over 3 years and will NEVER not use it. Steady as can be!
