Only 11 steps to go for each of our teams. :)

Tonight, rooting for the Wings, Caps, Sens and Kings....let's go, Underdogs!

John rask still looks terrible and out of position constantly, I guess I shouldn't expect too much from him, but I do.

Great game, loved the goal from the blue line ... beauty eh.

I love that you see the Caps as the underdogs :r

But I will be rooting against them (based entirely on the CC Playoff Pool) :D

Only legit goal in that game was Logans. Raymond literally pushed nemo down in his crease puck disappears and neither results in a whistle. That was crap and the Sharks were right to be pissed. Boyles goal was similar. Pattys goal I liked because i think it showed Lou was rattled but was a kind of a fluke. While the refs did call the Cans for somethings I thought they got away with more then they should have. Glad they won. I hate those slim bags.

Are you kidding..just look at his stats he would be 1-2- or in top 5 in most all goalie stats?

His numbers would be a heck of a lot better if his defense did not turn the puck over in front of him, and hung him out to dry a boat load of times.

I like Tuukka he give up a softie sometimes, and it sux when our guy does, but all goalies do.

Dude he's out of position most of the time, he thinks he's timmy thomas except when rask flops down on the ice that's it, he's out of the play.

It happened several times in the first game and it took his defense standing in the crease to make saves, including an incredible kick save by A.F. in what was basically an open goal, sorry if I don't wear rose colored glasses, not to mention the fact the kid can't hold a lead to save his life.

Sorry I beg to disagree Rask is a top tier goal tender.
How about the save Ryder made in game five against the Canadiens to save a game?
In case you missed it.

Pens are like men against boys against the Islanders. Crosby took a whole 3 minutes into his return to score. I feel bad for Nabokov, he doesn't stand a chance.

My most hated player scores on my most hated goalie against my most hated team for the win.

I never thought I would like anything Raffi Torres ever did, but sending Bobby Lou to an 0-2 deficit is pretty nice. :r

Ryan Kesler talking $ hit as he skated past Sharks bench after first goal apparently really frustrated some players. Its got to be the water up there. Almost everyone on the team goes dbag. Apparently Havlat left game one and didnt play game 2 after bieksa gave him a stick to the nuts.

Torres post game he said many Canucks are friends. Uuuugh.

It could happen Tom. How interesting would the rematch be.

I left the bar when the score was 3-1 to get some tacos and watch it on my big screen with out having to put dollars in the kids jar for every F-bomb I dropped...it was getting expensive fast.

15 minutes later I turn on the game with my Tacos in hand and what is this?? the score is tied 3-3. and Okposo got in Beast mode whooped Nishkenans (sp?) ass and in just a few seconds or minutes we scored 2 goals.

seriously though except for the first few minutes it was a very closely matched game. and to call Cindy a man among boys is just plain ole' silly.

I did not expect the Isles to make the playoffs until next year and I was okay with that but boy oh boy. Sunday at the Coli is gonna be Rockin'

Re: NHL 2013 Thread

I think Raffi won't be targeted if the Hawks and Sharks meet, unless something new happens. The players seem to be over the "hit", even if the fans are not.

Looking forward to Game 3 of many series, Pens-Isles, Sharks-Dicks, Hawks-Wild, Sens-Habs....Man, I love playoff hockey!

Gryba suspension was bull$ hit. Two games for a legal shoulder check .
Cant wait to see what Abdelkader gets. He has to get more then 2 games or Shan will confirm what everyone is saying about punishing result not actual act. Abdelkader left his feet and targeted the head.

Not a fan of officiating in isles pens. Seems Pens are getting away with a lot while isles getting called for most things

It's amazing that it takes the Wild two losses to figure out they need to check someone.....Look a lot better today. Even if they still can't finish scoring chances.

Re: NHL 2013 Thread

After the Wild took the lead they sat on their heels and just let the Hawks come at them. They do that everytime they get leads. Drives me nuts. Didn't think they'd get through overtime. Love the win wish they'd play that way every game.

So they didn't really lose today, they were setting it up for you to see the advancement game, very nice of them, specially on your bday!

Wow Montreal players just wait till they get touched and drop their sticks and draw the calls, this is horrible, I know the refs want to contain the came but there comes a point when you are just calling penalties every 2 or 3 minutes.

AdamJoshua 05-05-2013 07:22 PM

4-1 Sens, Habs decide to throw fists, 5 fights break out and each Hab player got destroyed fighting as well. Wow terrible night all around for Montreal .. I love it. :D

Edit: Bahahhahahaha Sens score right off the faceoff after the fights to make it 5-1.

No watching the canucks go down 1-0, they are the overall dirtiest team in hockey... wow just wow.

San Jose with the 5-2 win over the dbags and the 3-0 series lead. Was nice to see Pavs and Patty have a big game.

Abdelkader gets 2 games for his leaping headshot. What a joke, Gryba gets 2 for a clean hit never leaving his feet not targeting head. Abdelkader charges leaves his feet targeting the head and gets 2. Pandering to a large fan base.

Loved both the late games today, Sens beat the Habs on the scoreboard, on their faces, and then stole their girlfriends. And made their coach cry.

Just who I think will win. Pretty sure I stated before im a closet leafs fan. Teams I pull for are Sharks, Hawks, Leafs. Just dont think they will get it done this year against the big bad Bs

Wear this from time to time. One of a few leafs related items I wear.
