Dammit, I'm mad. My PSP just broke. Laser works fine, but it won't move left to right in order to read the UMDs. Gears are grinding pretty loudly.:bh

Played through a couple encounters of DragonAge 2 at my buddy's last weekend--he's got a serious gaming rig, so he had all the bells & whistles on. For the few hours I played it, awesome stuff :tu

(Now if I could only convince the wife to let me upgrade our main PC, I could actually try out the original DragonAge :sad)

Oh man, that sucks. What model is it?

Been playing Crysis 2. Pretty good single player but not so hot on the multi.

My son bought Star Wars: Force Unleashed II and Epic Mickey (both for Wii). I bought NFL Training Camp for Wii. That game is fun but it physically will kick your @$$!:tu

Ouch! My PSP phat died a few months ago and I bought a used one just to have. And then they dropped the prices on the new ones, and I felt dumb :r

(Im)Patiently waiting for Diablo 3. No other game has caught my eye, with the exception of the new shogun total war game. Dunno if I'll get that or not.
But, when diablo 3 is released...

I suspect not even my new wife will see much of me...

Shogun 2 is pretty good Blake, you'd probably like it. Multiplayer is the best the series has ever had, so it has legs beyond the single player.

I finally finished up Twilight Princess after getting sidetracked with Pro Evolution Soccer for a while. 70+ hours, but I like to do all the side quests and explore. I'll probably check out Skyward Sword when it comes out, although I'm a little disappointed that they decided to go back to the cheesy cel-shaded graphics. It's supposed to have MotionPlus support, so the combat should be more like the Swordplay game in Sports Resort.

CRAP.

Who knew that Fallout 3 saved data in My Documents? I sure didn't. When I moved some hard drives around earlier, I copied the important folders. I.E. not that one

See you later, 50+ hour save file :bh

Seriously - why would it save in another folder? How can that possibly make sense? Keep it all contained! :fl

A lot of games do this now a days. I'd check with every new game you install.

Whenever I'm doing a wipe if I don't do a full backup, I always make sure to dump my users folder. 90% of the single player games I have played since Oblivion save to mydocs. I guess they do it so people don't have to go trolling through the program files when they switch boxes. Does anyone here play any steam games? Team Fortress 2 and Zombie Panic especially.

I definitely will going forward. I think this is the only game that this happened to. I'm sure I'll find another one that is missing in a few weeks :sh

I think I'm going to go the PC route with Portal 2, as long as my rig can handle it...though the PS3 option is very tempting

Last night I sat down and finished off Assassin's Creed 2. The story really developed in the last 2 hours of the game. Made me excited for brotherhood (which is sitting on my desk), but it is going to have to wait for me to beat Portal 2.

It didn't look that great, so I bought it on the DS rather than the big system for my kid. He loves the first two (both on PS2, GC, and DS), but this one he said really sucks.

I beat Portal 2 last night. Only had ~6-7 hours of gameplay. However, the co-op (that I haven't touched as of yet) is supposed to be an entirely new set of levels. Even for $45, I feel like I got my money's worth without even touching the co-op. I enjoyed every second of that game, and I'm stoked to see what co-op has. Plus, if I replay it as much as I did Portal 1, I'll really get some mileage out of this :tu

Tonight I start on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I finished AC2 on Monday night, and it ended on such a high note. I hope ACB can pick up right where that one left off :)

My wife just picked up Assassins Creed 3. I was going to when it came out in Nov but honestly I couldn't be bothered with anything that wasn't Black Ops during that time LOL. She absolutely loved the 2nd one so I'm assuming this one will be similar.

I haven't had a chance to play it yet but will report back in when finals are over and when my work schedule lets up a bit.

I hadn't even heard of this game until yesterday. I need to do some research on it tonight.

Anyone picking up Brink? I'm gonna give it a week and then see what youtube reviews say about it before I decide to pick it up or not.

Since Sony is a multi-billion dollar company, I would think they should have their **** together. But, I guess not.

Maybe Bill Gates is doing all this mischief!! He got bored with retirement. :sh
