Upmann no 2. Gentle smoke. Kept good ash for about 2 inches and then started to canoe for some reason. Corrective burn caused ash to drop and it struggled after that. Nice smoke though - milder than a Monte no 2.

Couldn't take it in the office anymore - made a dash for the park - quick and delicious smoke. Great construction - kept a pale grey ash all the way to the nub. (Didn't drop a bit) Topped it off with some ginger beef at the nearby Vietnamese place, and can now almost stomach the rest of the day, with the taste-buds a-zing with ginger spice and habanos! Oh yeah!

I've had two out of the fiver I ordered and the one last night was definitely much better than the first. Rich, musty tobacco with a sweet leather and earth. Occasional notes of unsweetened cocoa as well. Very, very smooth smoke. I'd recommend them.

After seeing Remo's Nica Rustica pic yesterday, I was inspired to dig one out of my humidor and try one for myself. It was delicious!:noon I am honestly beyond impressed by this stick! I quickly ordered up a bundle to have on hand!

Early evening smoke Monte No.2 from 2013

I am clearly getting Monte Flavors, just a little young on the finish (I'm Thinking in a few years it will be stellar). But very nice for a fresh cigar.

EP Carillo (?maduro Predilectos Torpedo) sent to be by DMK. (Thanks man!) A really nice smoke - full bodied - reminded me of those chocolate coated espresso beans. Uncle Nic gave me a beating for smoking it too fast.

Any idea why the "blunderbuss" look on the foot? Too much heat? Too much humidity? Just the gale force Winnipeg breeze?:sh

Ended up going with a good 'ol classic La Traviata while doing a little BBQ-ing. One good thing about living in the middle of Farm Country is that the beef is pretty phenomenal.

This afternoon I had my first Cain Daytona. It was ok but I think it needs to rest a little bit more. Then I finished off the night with a Tatuaje Havana VI Noble it was great but I think I prefer the Angeles.
