Cigar Asylum Cigar Forum - What cigar did you smoke today?

First I had a Rocky Patel Decade Robusto, but I couldn't even get to the halfway mark. I heard so many good things about this one; maybe I just got a bad one.

But later I had an AF Anejo 50, and it was incredible. It was my first and definitely not my last.

ACID - Kuba Kuba - It was a given to me from a buddy. Now I know why.

I threw it away after five minutes. Really not my thing.

Isn't it kinda funny how often that's true with heavily (overly) hyped products? I had the same experience the other week with my first Opus X, hardly worth the raving you constantly see about that cigar. The La Aurora Preferidos Ruby I smoked after the Opus X blew it out the water by a huge margin.

Today I had an RP 2009 Winter Blend from a recent event.
It was better than the RP 2008 Summer Blend I had Saturday,
and yesterday I had an RP Fusion torp.

I guess it's been an RP weekend!

Today I finally had my Padron 64 'A' that had been in my humidor for about a year and a half. I never had the time to smoke the whole thing but I finally did. Wow, what a great cigar. Will have to get more, but maybe in a smaller size next time.
