Re: What are you reading? Finished 'Heart Shaped Box' by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son). Was a pretty good book and only took me a couple days to read. You can see a lot of his father's influence in his writing. Now I have moved onto 'The Dark Half' by Stephen King. |

Re: What are you reading? Black Powder War by Naomi Novik - third in a series (5-6 books so far?) - psuedo-historical fiction set during the Napoleonic wars, but with dragons. Very well written and engaging. Was also reading some Brian Lumley - the first few Necroscope books. Pretty good, definitely entertaining, and very bloody. And finally a bit of Dan Simmons - Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion. Incredible books - think Chaucer's Canterbury Tales style, but set in a sci-fi world. |

Man, I would love to see an interview with him. I still get chills when I think about the part of the book where he was describing the day and hours leading up to his first landing on Peleliu. When I finished that section I realized I had knots in my stomach and I think I was about as tense as I have ever been reading a book. |

Re: What are you reading? Yup- I'm looking for the whole thing as well. Just saw snippets of it on The Military Channel- obviously somewhere the whole interview resides! http://www.amazon.com/China-Marine-I...7116904&sr=1-2 |
