I just have to respond to legend because I'm never wrong. But he just pointed out how I do that. That would make him right. Make a new name and post it with that. Yeah. Yeah.

What makes is more awesome to me is that, in my mind, I hear it being read like a Budweiser "Real Men of Genius" ad :r

The propinquity between your iterative catechism, "Really?", and your Descartian "what am I" clearly elevates you to the uppermost level of intellectual scribblers. I would be astonished if you did not hold dual Ph.D.s in Philosophy and English.

Bravo, I say, bravo.

Your philanthropic entertainment of the unwashed masses says much about your character. Some might consider your posts deficient, dazed, doltish and delirious, but not I, sir.

I read between your meaningless, moronic and mindless posts, I sidestep your senseless, simpleminded, sluggish, stolid and stupefied sentences, and realize that we are the presence of a genius.

We are blessed to have one such as you here

Thank you for whoever can update me on this matter.

And this one

You have a good many little gifts and virtues, but there is no need of parading them, for conceit spoils the finest genius. There is not much danger that real talent or goodness will be overlooked long, and the great charm of all power is modesty.

Legend, what happened to you? You had some brillian, well reasoned posts on the old board and have turned into the little boy who cries me, me, me in order to get attention over here. We migrated to avoid all of the old bs and it still follows. How about becoming a human being again and relating to people instead of being a stuck-up horse's putz? I am sure that folks would embrace the change.:tu

Legend,

I'm sorry but I have to agree on this one and you know that I was a big fan of your posts and reviews in the past and find you to be informative and humorous. I do feel however, that you are losing that better part of yourself with your recent posts and comments. Maybe this is the hint to tone it down that should be listened to. I like the regular plain old easy going legend that used to post here and I know a lot of BOTLs did too.

That is interesting as I respect Taltos and his opinion but I have seen nothing but drivel and petty name calling. That having been said I believe everyone should be judged on there actions current not past.

OK.

Update: Due to business(good thing) I am canceling the tour to Don Pepin factory in May(bad thing). However, I will go sometime, it's just not feasible right now, have at least 2 national Clients trying my business out and need to make sure everything goes perfect for a while.

This Friday I did speak with don Pepin at the event at Zarka's. don Is a very nice soft spoken guy, no English, I did my best with the 4 years I took of Spanish and a translator. Don said while others may provide a slightly higher quality to the Smaller shops, It's not something done at his factory, he refuses even to produce 2nds. Anything that is not up to quality is cut up and used in short filler production.

So that's it for now, will have to check in with some of the other factories when i can.

Interesting. I'm not saying you're right or wrong. You've got a lot more experience at this than I have. But one thought comes to mind. Your conjecture, if I draw it out to it's logical conclusion, is that Rocky, Nestor, Nick, etc., keep two stocks of the same cigar; one for the big internet shops, and another, the superior cigar, for the B&M. Personally, I doubt that would last for very long without being "found out." There's too many well informed people in this hobby to keep something like that secret. I think the care, storage & aging scenario is far more plausible.
