Lubo Viz re-signs with the Isles Woot, woot. First it was Nabby after we had to toll his contract to get him to report. Just to see him do a 180 and re-signs now Lubo. Gotta Love it.

My Isles will be cup contenders by the time the move to Brooklyn with a rue #1 goalie (hopefully we acquire Bernier) and 1 big D man. Our prospect pool is full of talent...

it took years to get to this point since that POS Mad Mike decimate not only the Isles franchise but our Porspect pool in the "A"

Romors around Chicago are Franz Nielsen and Mark Streit to the Hawks for Dylan Olson, Jermey Morin and a draft pick. Hawks are apparently not comfortable with Johnny Oduya as a #4 D-man in the playoffs. Not sure what the talk around Long Island is, but I hear the Islanders and coveting Olson.

Crosby potentially out 4-6 weeks with a busted jaw, good thing they grabbed Iginla and Morrow.

I blame the stupid blue jerseys. Nothing but bad happens when they wear them!

Imagine that, Crosby is out. He's such a douche, I can't stand him.

Drop your stick against the Bruins and get awarded with a PP, seems if you drop your stick you must have been slashed hard.

Haven't seem this much home cookin' in years.

I would hate to see any player take a slapshot to the face, regardless of how I felt about him.

Well, maybe Raffi Torres. :r

I'm not saying I'm glad he got smoked in the face, I'm just saying he missed a ton of games last season, and it's looking like he'll be missing more now.

Not sure how that makes him a douche, but OK. ;s

He seems kinda douchey too. I don't follow Hockey all that closely, same with Basketball. It isn't that their not interesting, it's that I don't know the rules so a lot of the Penalties don't make sense.

From the Wings games I've had to watch when I was in Michigan, Pavel Datysuk is really fun to watch. That's about the gist of my NHL knowledge.

Jagr to the Bruins..I'm excited even for a 41 year old guy he has great work ethic first one on the ice last one off.
Now for a top six blue liner and we will be good to go.
The defense has been killing the Bruins with the inability to clear the puck out from in front of the net, it has been hanging the goalies out to dry. :D

Congrats on picking up Geriatric Jags. I meant to see what the Bruins are paying him.
He's going to be a nice sniper rental for the playoffs run, I hope he works out for you guys.

I like Sid, even if he is a bit of a tantrum baby. He's a good Captain.
I sure hope the Pens hang on to Iginla. He'd make an awesome Captain in Sid's absence. I've been hearing a lot from him on the radio and he seems to be a class act. I've never followed him, so I don't know much past what I've heard since he's hit the Burgh.

As old as he is and as ineamic the Bruins power play is he walks onto the team as the fourth leading scorer.
At least we now have a guy that can put the puck in the net.

Clowe continues to be a healthy scratch and is almost certain to be traded. Many think today.
One of the rumored teams is now the Wild. Hope that doesnt happen as will likely come back to haunt them.

Recchi was huge for us and he was as old as dirt as well, not to mention Jagr has what 14 goals this year? Can look it up at the moment but he's hardly slouching.

The B's were interested but the Sharks are asking for the moon with a fence around it.
High salary, no goals, and shoulder issues, don't need that for the playoff push.
Boyle I would take.

I've heard the same rumors. I hope they come true as long as we don't have to give up too much... I personally would have loved to see the Wild get either Boumeester or Leopold.

Appears Sharks have decided to keep boyle from the whispers here. Of course nothing is certain given the right compensation. That said given what they appear to be asking for Clowe, I would imagine boyles price is very high. I just dont see them moving him given they got rid of Murray.

Booooom. From puck daddy clowe to rangers
Clowe comes to New York for three selections: A 2nd-rounder, a 3rd-rounder, and conditional 2nd rounder that becomes a 5th unless the Rangers reach the Eastern Conference Final again or Clowe re-signs in New York.

I think the Sharks are done. In good position still with a ton of picks

Im confused. I mean they are done dumping players. They appear they will make the plaoffs possibly 4th if they stay hot. They dumped some players that were not working and got some decent picks. NY overpaid.

Correct, Wild get Pominville, Buffalo gets a very good, young goalie in Matt Hackett, and a very young Swede forward with huge upside in Jonas Larsson. Good trade for both teams in my eyes.

So the Bruins pick up an Icehog :r Flick and report is they grabbed Wade Redden from St. Louis, Redden played with Chris Kelly and Big Zee in Ottawa. No news on what they gave up for Redden but I can't see it being much.

WTF! Why why why? The Sharks traded for that POS Torres. I cant stand him. No one likes him. I dont understand their moves today. Hannan and Torres? They have won 5 straight. I guess they want someone in the playoffs who they can use to try to cripple someone? I dont see either of these two being the key to a deep run.

Sad fan of the Sharks.

Low draft pick in 2014...Reddin won't even dress?

Love seeing this ...

"The NHL's trade deadline passed, and Roberto Luongo remains with the Vancouver Canucks, the victim of his own long-term contract that extends through 2022.

Luongo showed his frustration with his contract and his current status as a backup goaltender Wednesday during a news conference with the Vancouver media.

"My contract sucks -- that's what's the problem," Luongo said. "I'd scrap it if I could now."

Louuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.... can suck it.

I cant blame you. Im not happy. I just dont understand either of these acquisitions today. Of the comments from Sharks fans I have heard today not a single perzon was happy to see Torres in teal. Most everyone remembers his head shot on Michalek in the 06 playoffs. Dirty POS! I am just so unhappy with thid signing.

Read something about replacing clowes toughness. Clowe was a character guy who would stand up for teamates. Torres is no Clowe.
