Beautiful bike man. Someday I will get a bike! What kind of bike did you start out on?

Well really I started out on a Kawasaki KD-80 when I was a kid. ;)

As for street bikes I started out with a KTM 525 Supermoto which really wasn't street legal but it was good fun. I then moved to the Ducati 999 that I only owned for about 6 months before I got this 1198S.

Don't make her too heavy, she'll get slow. ;)

I blew the mouse fetuses out of the V&H pipes, so I'm getting about 75 out of her. I'd like to lose another 15 mph or so, and I'll be right where I'm happy.
I forgot to mention, I got a brand new stock seat on ebay for $125. Mine had a big gash melted in it. What happened to it, I'll never know, but it was nasty. It made a big diff in "newing up" the bike.
Weight change=neutral (unless there's a difference in unburned plastic vs. non-burned plastic.)

Scott, don't you have back problems? That seat will be the death of you. I'd rather sit on concrete. Check out Mustangs (my preference for you bike) or Corbin.

Bikes been down for over a week now and seeing the sun out makes we want to ride something kind of bad.

Anybody get/getting some new accessories for the season?

^^ Nice looking ride! :tu

Looking to put some new sintered plates in this week and replace the filter. Got my pipes back on after getting them ceramic coated and need this weather to cooperate so I can get my ride on. :)

I don't think I could get my leg high enough to touch my clutch lever!

My first Harley I got last week. It's an 99 1200 Sportster. Got a sweet deal on it. This is before I shined all the chrome.

The handle bars were turned all the way to the left so the lever was pretty low.

I've been out 6 or 8 times between the raindrops.
I got some new gas, and I got some new really heavy thread to sew up my trunk bag. It got all ripped up cause I've been too lazy to cut out a hunk of wood and bolt it to the inside bottom so it'll quit crumpling up on me.
I have been wanting to get one of those front fender chrome double rail deals. I'll just wait till I have time to put it on. If I can't fix my saddlebag, I probably won't bolt on chrome either, right?

This thing is what I'm talking aboot...
