2019 was a good year for Booker's, and I dig the Biscuits. ... I definitely would.

You talked me into it! Guess it'll be making it's way to Shack along with a case of other friends from my stock!

Curious to hear what you think of this batch when you open one, Tony. For me might be the best since 2019.

Grabbed a couple owner's picks, Ragged Branch Wheated Bourbon, and Bulleit 11-yr Single Barrel.

Greg, Blanton's has nice flavor, but it's 93 proof so too light for me now. I wouldn't pay more than $60 for a bottle though.

I have that problem around here, not some much mark ups but just getting some rarer stuff is the problem. I haven’t found Eagle Rare since Christmas. The guy at the liquor store by work says he normally gets some in once a month in his Tuesday shipment and it’s gone that day. Normally I find some stuff like 4 roses small batch ($32.99) and single barrel, basil, wild turkey, I did find some rare bread barrel proof ( $47.19)and a long branch this past week (I regret not pulling the trigger one of them) knob creek, bulleit, high west rye, wild turkey, woodford reserve.

I think my next bourbon purchase is gonna be bardstown fusion ($51.99) I’ve also been thinking about old elk ($55.99)

What do you guys think of these prices? What’s the best site you guys use to find MSRP?

I find it interesting. Some peanut, caramel and cinnamon flavors with a long finish. I like it, so I had a second dram tonight. -(P

Chayse, the four roses small batch seems reasonable. It is about 35 to 37 bucks here.

I saw a local Kansas bourbon at the local liquor store that I am interested in trying.

Blanton's isn't too hard for me to find, but I just don't chase it. If I see it, I'll grab it just to get the toppers. I agree with Tom that is it too light for me.

Right now I am hunting Penelope Four Grains Toasted Barrel Strength. I had the Rose version of it and liked it a lot, lots of vanilla and berries flavor to me.

I've got one shop near me that carriers Penelope, and they only are stocking two facings at a time. I've been told the local distributors have access, but stores worry carry it, it boggles my mind. Good luck on finding any of the toasted series.

The other major issue locally is finding near MSRP on anything that is allocated. Hell I saw Blantons the other day for $145, damn highway robbery prices!

I had a guy at a local grocery who would set one aside for me about twice a year, $54. He is retired now, so the only Blanton's I've seen this year is at secondary prices. I would certainly buy if I saw it near MSRP, but probably just to use as trade bait.
