Re: Cigars in Cinema
How great is this hobby?? I get a text from my wife this morning while I was at work. This is what it said - "Tommy Lee Jones smokes a cigar in The Fugitive." She's trying to help out our list. I told her I would check, but I knew it would already be on here. "A" for effort.

Re: Cigars in Cinema
I turned past AMC last night to see Pinky, a 1949 film with Ethel Barrymore. I'm thinking, if Tom can do it, so I can. So I watch about 15 grueling minutes and spot a cigar. Just to come here this morning and see it's already posted. Well that sucks!!

Thunderball (1965)
James Bond rebreather was stored in a R&J cigar tube. Legend has it that the Royal Navy approached Pinewood Studios with intent of learning how they designed this device (they had tried and failed to invent such a rebreather). Studio officials told them the actors just held their breaths (James Bond 1 : Royal Navy 0) (See my avatar) |
