The Girls of Room 28: Friendship, Hope, and Survival in Theresienstadt by Hannelore Brenner...a story of girls who survived the Jewish ghetto. The story is pieced together by the girl's diaries and personal memories. Just into it by 50 pages.

I am reading much more with the Kindle. I would highly recommend for anyone who reads consistently.

Re: What are you reading?

Why do you think you read more? I always carry a book with me so if I have a few minutes I have something to do. The kindle just looks like a cool gadget and I like the idea of instant downloads, but I don't think it would give me more time to read.

Re: What are you reading?

I would attribute the additional reading to carrying the Kindle places that I would not have taken a book(s) and/or magazines. It is nice having a variety of reading materials at my fingertips.

Rather than carrying around a single magazine or single book, I have them all available to me. There is 4 GB of internal memory and I have 500 MB of PDF books, a variety of eBooks from Amazon, 3 magazines and 2 newspapers at my disposal (and I still have 3 GB available).

Cool-does the newspaper download automatically every day?

If you leave the wireless on. To save battery life, I just turn wireless on first thing in the morning for 5 minutes and then turn it back off. That way, the battery lasts for 7-10 days easy.

Re: What are you reading?

I am reading 3 at the moment.

A Case for Faith by Lee Strobel; is a really great read if you are open minded enough to look at things from both sides of the fence on religion. He is an ex atheist turned christian who is also an investigative reporter and interviews people from both sides in this page turner. I enjoyed it cover to cover.

Hinterlands by James Clemens, Book 2 of the Godslayer Chronicles; If you are a fantasy lover then I would recommend this series. I am revisiting this series for a 3rd time now and still enjoy it.

The Pirate King by R.A. Salvatore who is imho the king of fantasy lore and swordplay.
I am anxiously waiting for the new addition to this series in October!
