06 Bolivar CE. Poorly constructed like most of this box has been. Cut it in half and sampled both halves then pitched.

I believe it is a No. 1. I glanced at the tag, set it down and now can't find it. ;s Pretty sure it was 1998. LostAbbott sent it to me, fantastic brother that he is, I would LOVE to find more of these and age them. It's the best I have had, including the Cubans i have had up north. I am almost finished smoking it, holding it with a toothpick and it's not anywhere near hot!

Those are some of my favorite smokes! Partagas LR Decadas 1998. Glad you enjoyed it. The No. IV I believe are like churchills. Much bigger. Takes me about 2 1/2 hours to take down. Absolutely Delicious.

No it was not a no.1 but an Annual Chest from JR. It 5.5x50 inches instead of 4.5x49. Besides that I do believe it is a 98. From what I can tell it is the same tobacco, rolled the same, just longer, green band and maybe specific to JR. Glad you enjoyed it Paul. :banger

Last night:
Gurkha 7 x 50 Elegance and a Rocky Patel Old World Reserve Robusto.

The Gurkha was a good stick but not for the price point. The RP Old World had a very interesting flavor with a sweet aftertaste. Enjoyed it immensely.
