The Bengals got absolutely RAPED and the Ravens got some home cooking on those calls. Suggs had hands to the face and he horse collared Dalton. How does the Referee miss that? That is his only job is to watch the QB. Screw Ron Winter.

Not to mention that they could have called "in the grasp" and Dalton could have been called down on that play instead of the grounding penalty they did call. That was a tough loss man...sorry, you know how hard I was pulling for ya! Now the frieken Ravens are back in the #1 spot in the AFC north...:td

Newton is statistically better on a bad team. Dalton will likely finish with a winning record on a decent team. Somehow the Bengals might make the playoffs despite finishing 2-4 in their division. It will be interesting to see. I think Newton wins because of the hype going into the season, and somehow he lived up to it. :tu

Cam had a recordbreaking start for a rookie qb, but Dalton acutally has wins under his belt. I see Daugherty thinks that Green will be in the mix this year as well.

A.J. Green is definitely a game changer. When he is in the game, Dalton can just throw it up high in his vicinity and Green 9 times out of 10 will go up and get it. He kind of reminds me of Randy Moss.

Man, the more that I look at it, the more I'm convinced that the Jets are going to edge the Bengals out for the final wildcard spot. Hope I'm wrong, though, because there's a whole lot to not like about the J-E-T-S and the Bengals have built themselves a nice, young team.

Even if the Bengals beat out the Jets, or any other team who may make the playoffs, they will likely have the quick departure from them (similar to the Reds when they played the MLB's weakest schedule). :rolleyes:

Very, very true. The refs screwed us big time ONCE AGAIN on the no block in the back call on the punt return, and that really swung the momentum around. You can't blame it on the refs though. The defense has to make some stops.

It was tough to know their schedule would be so weak, but then again, they are kind of like the Reds of 2 seasons ago, except they definitely can't compete in the division and likely won't make the playoffs. :sh

Well done by the Bengals on winnning 8 games against teams with a total of about 30 wins between them. They have yet to win a game against any one who is a contender, or anyone who they weren't supposed to beat. ;)

Oh yeah, you won. Congratulations. It doesn't change the fact that they play one of the weakest schedules in the NFL and can't beat a winning team. Heck, they probably lose that game today if Bradford is healthy. But they found a way to beat 8 really bad teams. Should they beat the Cardinals? Yes. Neither are the Rams and they held on to win that one because they were playing a QB who hadn't played in 4 years. Heck, the game winning TD drive had 40 yards in penalties to help them out. :rolleyes:

WE NEED YOU GUYS TO BEAT BALTIMORE!! I am pretty sure you guys are still in the hunt for the playoffs especially since Tennessee lost today...still have lots to play for! Hopefully the Bengals can take care of Arizona next week and then finish off with a win over the Ravens!

Huge 'IF' for the Bengals. Unfortunately they have to play the Ravens, who ARE playing for something or they stay home for the playoffs. Either way, 9-7 is a huge success considering they should have been 7-9 at best if any of the teams were playing decent when they had them on the schedule. :sh

Well, no one can claim that that is the reason why the Bengals won. If Pacman hadn't jumped in the air too early on one of the previous plays, we would have intercepted Skelton and the game would have been over.

I wouldn't give money to Mike Brown, but in a city as large as Cincinnati and the homers out there, I can never understand why everyone claims to be the biggest 'fans' of all these teams in the area, but no one ever goes to games. Same with the Reds, UC, Louisville, UK, OSU etc. etc. etc. :rolleyes:

I used to have season tickets for a couple seasons. The ketchup is mediocre at best. Mike Brown is such a tight ass. He won't turn the down escalator on until the 4th quarter to discourage you from leaving and taking your money home. In the summer the water in the bathroom is warm so that people with water bottles can't fill them up. In the winter, the water is cold so that people can't make hot chocolate.

The referees were absolutely horrible too. I have never seen worse officiating in my life. How does the ref not call pass interference on the 2nd last play of the game. He was staring right at A.J. Green. It was an absolute joke.

Once again they get to play a team at their weakest point of the season, on their 5th string QB who has been around a few weeks and with Andre Johnson hurt. Nothing like making the playoffs by losing. :rolleyes:

Blind faith is great when the playoffs fall in their lap. Bottom line, if they beat the Texans, their chances against the Patriots aren't good. Luckily for them they won't have to play at the Ravens or Steelers. :gary

What about the "helmet to helmet" hit they called on Nelson that gave the Ravens 15 yards which led them to score. The replays showed that he did not hit the helmet at all.
