Surprisingly tasted better than when I first bought them a year or two ago. I remember not being able to get halfway through the first one I smoked out of the box.

Gurkha Empire Series VI. Meh. Not a "bad" cigar... but nothing remotely exciting. Only smoked it to the final 1/3 before the wrapper cracked and came apart for no apparent reason.

Just got done a Mi Barrio El Acere from a box I received last week. Still too wet to burn properly and went out halfway through.

Thought the first third was really mild, but couldn't get the char to go away after the relight.

Just got back from the local tobacco shop. Picked up an AF curlyhead deluxe natural, and some off brand stick called Cuban Rounds. Never heard of it, but figured I'd give it a try since it was cheap.

Hoping to smoke them both tonight!

In the midst of me getting ready for my wedding, went to the store to pick up my cigar order for my groomsmen. Realizing I didn't want to smoke the cigars just yet, I got myself a Nelson Miranda Domincano again. Nice short cigar.

Perdomo ESV '91 Toro. Pretty good stick... I expected it to be really mild b/c of the Connecticut wrapper but it had a surprising body to it. I'd say medium to medium-full... Fairly complex. I can't really point out all of the flavors but there were a number of them and a few nice changes. My first Perdomo smoke... I'll have to try more of them! Thanks for the stick Montano!

7-20-4 Torpedo....thing burned like a hand rolled doobie for the first third, rediculous. Other than that, a pretty tasty little smoke, think I just got a dud. I will reserve judgement until I have smoked another.

It was last night, but the last ones that I smoked. My buddies and I did a Gurkha fest last night....puff puff Pass with Gurkha Black puro, Gurkha Gold collectors ed. #4, Gurkha Regent, Gurkha Sherpa Cafe, Gurkha Symphony. Interesting night. Got a chance to taste the variations and similarities between them. Black Puro is still my favorite

It was really a cool experiment. As the flavors would change and develop, we'd pass them around and try and name them....berry, cinnamon, coffee, red pepper versus black pepper. It was fun. We'll probably do it again next week with a bunch of different rocky patels
