Reyes and Murphy both end up on the DL. Looks like we lost Murphy for the season. He was having a great year wit the bat. Oh well...at least we didn't "tank" in May. :D And we call up Mike Baxter...an outfielder hitting .265 with one HR...WTF??? :bh :bh

Mets comeback effort thwarted this time...Padres take us 9-5. Puts us back to .500 at 58-58. With the starting rotation we have...I'd thought we'd be 15 games under .500.

Didn't see this game, but I did catch highlights on the local news. That behind-the-back snag by Gee was nice, and that flying grab down the line by Wright, followed by the deek to get the runner on third, were definitely worthy of highlighting.
