Re: How Old Are You?
My 69 Camaro had the floor high beam switch. Replaced it every few years. Seems like the sand or something would cause it to wear out. I actually prefer it to the signal stem switch.

$69 in '66 was a small fortune for a bike. The Schwinn 5 speed fastback was the coolest thing on two wheels.

Re: How Old Are You?
And I had the 3-speed version. My parents couldn't afford the 5 speed on a NCOs pay :)

[quote=Brlesq;1883631]I often post the instructions for a similar old tray on "How to Make Ice" for those morons at the office that take the last ice cube. :sl
Wow. Metal ice trays with lever. Man is that an oldie. I remember I considered the plastic and twist the most incredible invention since fire.:r |

Re: How Old Are You?
My Brother in Law back in the early 70's bought a console stereo from the local department store. As part of the sale, he had to select 500 8 track tapes from a list. That's a good size pile of tapes.

How about these? These were more fun...didn't need the gun. A rock would work just fine. http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/v...psca96e3bc.jpg |

Remember the rockets you could get that used these as well? You threw them and when they landed it set of the strip. |

Another oldie-but-goodie (I did not have one, but my neighbors did -- my brother and I were very jealous!):
