Would like feedback if you have one of these. This is the Lauderdale model from cheaphumidors and is perfect in size and color. As much as I would love one from Aristocrat of similar size that is not possible in the foreseeable future. Not sure if this one is as well but I wanted to do a little research on it anyway.

Thanks in advance guys.

Hey Al I have a very similar model which also originally came from cheaphumidors (seen here) (http://www.qualityimporters.com/qualityimporters/products_detail.asp?ID=101) and it works great.

I picked it up from craigslist for dirt cheap. I am currently using it for a few loose singles and I keep all my empty boxes in it to keep the rh stable. I put a few pounds of Scotts beads in it and I swear to god that thing has not moved off of 65% in a few weeks. I am actually EXTREMELY surprised at how well it holds humidity, or maybe more surprised how well Shilalas beads work;)
I am currently using 2 lbs of beads, 2 oust fans, and a cigar oasis that has no water in it. Seriously NO water. It is the old school model and I ripped all the foam out real good and put a few ounces of distilled water in it just to get the beads where I wanted them and then emptied the water out. Now it is just used as a mini fan to help circulate the humidity.

I have all my sticks in my vino and that thing is so solid that I did not wanna transfer the sticks over. Especially since it is pimped out with Scotts drawers and his beads and because it gets so hot down here in the summer.
(If it sounds like I am pimpin out Scotts products thats because I am:D. I love that guy):tu

Soooo to answer your question it works great and I am sure you will be very pleased if you decide to get one. I am sure that someday you will want something bigger but that is up to you to decide.

I Dont know if this helps you out at all but I tried.:cool2:

Hey Al, I don't have that humidor, but I do have an end table (Montegue (http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=M-HUMMT1500&cat=10) model through CI).

Like you, I was in no rush and kept a very close eye on this model coming up on cbid. I bid on about 4 or 5 different auctions before I finally had the high bid. I'd have to dig up the paperwork, but I think I ended up paying around $300. Since you live in NJ (probably even closer to their warehouse than me), you can coordinate to pick it up to save the shipping expense. That's what I did. 2 hours to and fro, but 1) worth the savings, 2) got to smoke two cigars, and 3) stopped by their Superstore. But the best thing was 4) it permitted me to have the box opened before I took possession. The first one was damaged in shipping, so they had to grab a second, and all was good with that one.

I've had it now for a while... maybe even a year? Keep it in my finished basement and run a CO with some of Scott's beads in it. During the summer it is absolutely phenomenal, but during the dry winter I'm adding H2O to the CO every 10-14 days. Completely satisfied with it.

Hope that helps if you broaden your options.
