Dodgeball

Anyone else participate in a rec dodgeball league? I know it sounds funny, just like the movie. But we take it seriously, probably way more seriously than we should. My friends have been playing for six seasons now and it is more fun than any athletic event I have participated in before.

The league is at our local Boys & Girls Club and is uber-competitive. I can't throw very hard so I mainly focus on catching and trash talking. Lots of trash talking. If there are any leagues in your area, I highly recommend joining one.

The City rec department puts on occasional one day dodgeball tournaments. I played once with a bunch of guys from my roller hockey club. It was a blast, but I was unbelievably sore the next day.

Haha, I'm not quite sure I can say the same thing about my league. It gets pretty heated sometime.:fl
