So, I bought one of these on a whim today. It's 7" long in a semi box press and very black looking. I've never heard of it here, dog rocket or decent?

I think it's a decent value cigar, a medium-full Nicaraguan. I've only had one but wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

I find the Costa Rican maduro wrapped ones to be OUTSTANDING smokes, especially at $2.00 or so. They are simple smokes, with classic nic. tobacco flavors: mostly with earth, coffee, cocoa and a touch of spice, but really tasty. I dig them, if you couldn't tell.

:tpd: The high octane ones are excellent, too.

I like them, but they have consistent burn issues.

I'm curious too. I have a few naturals and maduros on the way as samples, and I also can't stand too much "vitamin N"...

I don' remember nicotine content with any of the ones I have had at all. Just really tasty smooth flavor.

good smoke, better price. Both are pretty smooth. No buzzes.

If you like Mayorgas, JR Cigars promotes them on a regular basis. I like them alot, but I never noticed an unusual nicotine buzz from them, maybe because I'm a sissy boy and let my stogies go out frequently when I smoke them.

Hello Michael, the Mayorga's have been around for many years. Personally, I enjoy both the Nat and Mad Gordita Torpedo (5x54). Lot's of aroma in the smoke, good flavor, and a really smooth smoking cigar. JR's appears to be Out of Stock at this point in time though:ss

Thanks for the input... Well, it just sounds like one of a million cigars I have never heard of. Glad I bought it, seems to get decent props and I like smooth so whenever I can get rid of this bronchitis I'll give it a try.
