Someone please tell me who invented this and may the fleas of a thousand camels infest this inventor's arm pits.

Those darn things were not made for use.
They are made to STARE at them.
DON'T dare touch them.
If you do touch them, you will be cleaning them forever!!!

I actually think someone invented stainless steel appliance cleaner first and then they needed to peddle the stuff so hence stainless steel appliances. After which time, along came my wife to buy it.:bh

I only have the fridge right now. She is whining about the other items she now needs to match. I say, please, just shoot me now.

I swear I will shoot her if she even dreamed of figuring out how to put stuff on it.
12 months, same as cash, $2300 later and don't dare touch it or you are wiping it down for 15 minutes.:fl

This quote could be used in so many ways. :r

I bought a cheap SS Amana fridge because I couldn't afford a Viking.

Welcome to the club!

My wife has tried a dozen or so different cleaners and likes the stuff by Wiemans (sp). She has it in spray and wipes - and likes the wipes better. Seems to keep the accidental fingerprints from showing up as bad.

But yeah - once you get it clean you don't even want to touch the damn thing. We also have the oven and dishwasher in stainless.

We've got all three in ss (fridge, range, DW). Impossible to get & keep clean. Just when you think you've finally got it clean the sun hits it and all the streaks show up. :fl

Vinegar and water gentlemen. It will clean up SS like a charm. Also makes the kitchen smell like a fish and chips shop! mmmmmmm

its actually a low grade stainless on most, therefore magnets will stick! This may be the way out of cleaning it, cover it completly in magnets :D

Must be great when your grandson comes over. Is he allowed in the kitchen?:D

:r:r:r
He is the biggest culprit.
I freak out when I see him charging towards it with toys that can damage it.
He also enjoys messing with the controls.
Took me a half hour after he left to figure out how to change the settings from C back to F.:r

We have SS appliances. The magnets won't stick to the fridge, but will on the dishwasher. Go figure. Anyway, we gave up a long time ago trying to keep it fingerprint free. Luckily, our kitchen lighting is on the dim side. :D

I skipped SS and went with Silver... it looks like it but you can put magnets on it and it is easy to clean. :ss

I bought SS so the magnets won't stick. Maybe I am unpatriotic or something but I hate fridge magnets. The finger prints are not bad on our Subzero, but the fridge is overpriced.

Well I don't have stainless but I do have shiny black and not textured and we use a shammy (spelling) on it works great, but like you say don't dare touch it.
