The Salomone is not a very common size cigar. In fact many NC brands do not even include one in their offerings. I'm really not sure how many different NC Salomones are available. I know of at least a half dozen, or so, out there. I have developed an interest in trying this size, and I am wondering which ones are favored by the members here, and why!

I like the Illusione but I can't recall the specific name, and I'm too lazy to look it up. (Points for honesty?)

LFD has a new one that is wonderful!!! Slightly different blend than his double ligeros. A little smoother IMHO, but with such a big smoke-set aside some time for this one! My local just got these in about 2 weeks ago.

DPG Serie JJ has a salomone. I've never smoked a salomone though.

I had a Pepin Salomon, I don't recall the blend, but it was very tasty. I think it was a JJ, but I am not sure.

OH MY GOD The Davidoff Royal Salomones was such a Beautiful smoke...slightly spicy...slightly dry...very cedary-goodness! I wish I still had some left! Very worth the price tag asked on them...

For a more mortal priced piece would have to be the Tatuaje RCs...

Thank you kind Sir!

I owe you anyway, for a few times that you hit me with a stick unexpectedly. This will add to the response!

You gotta love papajohn!:tu
