I would also like to see Dale Murphy make it in. He would have looked great in a Boston uniform.

Blyleven was pretty upset on the Mike and Mike show the other morning about being snubbed.

Bert "Tater" Blyleven. He of the 430 HR given up in 4970 IP for his career, including 96 combined for the 86-87 seasons.

Both great additions to the hall.

:tpd: Both no brainers IMO. Who was a better leadoff hitter than Henderson? And I'm not a fan of his but dreaded seeing him leadoff when the A's played a team I liked. You have to respect a player of his ability.

Same can be said about Rice, not a fan of the Bosox but when he stepped in to the box a sense of dread entered your heart. His job was to knock the **** out of the ball and he did with great regularity. One of the most feared hitters of his time.

I agree.

He made some mistakes with his gambling, but he was a legendary player. He deserves the recognition. :2
