I don't watch many TV series at all but thinking about jumping in to watch series 24. I DVR'd the 2 hour Redemption last week (still have not gotten around to watching).

If I jump in right now will I understand what's going on without watching any of the previous seasons?

Thanks for your comments :ss

You will understand what is going on.

I freaking love 24.

Oh yeah, Jack Bauer would destroy Chuck Norris any day of the week ;)

you should be fine. Every season is something new, there are little bits from previous seasons, but not enough to throw you off. I can't wait, it's been soooo long since 24's bee on.

Can't wait, Kiefer Madness! I started with season 3 or 4 and had no trouble understanding it. BTW, I think Redemption was some sort of prequel. I haven't watched it yet either.

I just hope it doesn't jump the shark this season. My wife thinks it already did last season but I'm still optimistic.

Just finished the series premiere and it was pretty good! Another 1 hour episode is on tomorrow night. Was very surprised to see Jacks old buddy return......

I've been watching for years and am glad that it's finally back after a long hiatus. I recorded the show last night and will try to watch it early this week when I have some free time. I'm sure it will be as adrenaline pumping as ever.

I rank this show right up there with Happy Days as "jumping the shark"

Wow! Tony Almeda is back after having been dead only three years! If you think this show is good, I've got some Creamosas for you to try...:r

Holy Chit, this show is awesome. I finally got around to watching the 2 hour prequel Redemption and both of the 2 hour shows this week.

I can't believe I have not watched this show up till now. Love how it moves so fast

I think it is hillarious how Jack knew exactly where to look for the chemicals in the house where the prime minister and his wife were hiding out. :r
