About two weeks ago I was having an Illusione Rothschild, and really paying attention to it. I noticed it seemed a bit bland. So as I was focusing on it, I retrohaled...and boom, there was the flavor.

I realized that for the last few months, apparently I was NOT retrohaling and didn't even realize it. I think it's because for a while there my seasonal allergies were worse than usual. So maybe subconsciously I was keeping myself from sending smoke into my sinuses and nasal passages.

Either way, my allergies are better. So since that night I've been deliberately getting back into regular retrohales. And man, it's amazing how much more depth of flavor my cigars have once again.

Glad your allergies are better!

Retrohale is the way to go. Huge difference!

I think some cigars are so in your face one might not look for more.
I feel you with the allergies. I think I may have had a mild case of COVID this summer along with allergies that really had me aggravated.

I'd join you, but I am in the full throes of bronchitis at the moment. :(

Hey James, glad to hear that your allergies have subsided. I know it's a pain that I go through twice a year or so.

Sorry to hear that you are under the weather, Tom. Hope that feel better soon.
