Cigar Asylum Fantasy Hockey 2024-2025

New stakes this year hoping to get a few more teams. Commitment is 5 Cuban OR Premium non-Cuban cigars.


Minimum of 8, maximum of 16 teams, Head-to-head scoring, live draft with ability to pre-rank players if you need to auto draft.. Draft order will be random and snaking. We need an even number of teams due to the head-to-head scoring.

Payouts will be to 1st and 2nd place, and possibly the regular season winner as well if we get enough players. This is a commitment, please do not express interest if you (A) will not be interested in playing a full 9 month season and (B) will not be up for sending cigars to the winners in June of 2025.

We are looking for people who have been at Cigar Asylum for 6 months or more, only so I know the players are in for the long haul. Sorry to anyone with less time here. Priority to last season's players, but plenty of room for new teams.

7PM EST doesn't work for me because I'm often not home from work until after that. I'll look into a Friday or Sunday possibility.

Adam (T.G.) is out this year, and I still haven't heard from John or Adam. They will have proiority.

If John OR Adam join the league, we will have to run with 8 unless we get another potential player other than Jack.

If Adam AND John join the league, we will also add Jack and be at 10.

If neither join, we will add Jack and run with 8.

Wish we had more people wanting to join!

Time is running short, we'll need to draft this week or weekend. Does 7PM CST Friday work for people? Either way, I suggest pre-ranking your draft if you're interested (in case you can't make the live draft.)

Yes, I will work on it tomorrow and get all the info posted here. We are actually at 8 with Jack on deck. If Adam rejoins or someone else joins, we will have 10, otherwise we'll have to run with 8.

This is what I get for joining last minute and bumping someone trying to get in since I was returning manager. Had just about every player injured on my team and multiple days for most of them but their too good to drop and not long enough for IR to get a temp. Terrible…but here I am bottom dwelling. Hope St. Nick brings some non-injured players to me this Christmas and through the new year and to end of season.

I wanted to mention (before the standings change tomorrow) that more than halfway through the season, 2nd place to 5th place is separated by 2 points. Amazing!

I've lost a few weeks in a row, not a good sign heading into playoffs. My guys can't score goals or even take enough shots! :lr

Been there, done that. Didn't matter this season as I think I lost 5 of the last 6 weeks anyway.

I could beat Johnny for the Bronze if all this happens:

-Andersen pitches an S-word for the Canes

-Any bum on my offense gets a short handed point
-Somebody on my comatose roster go bananas and get a misconduct.
-And 4 assists. My Tinkerbells couldn’t score goals but were always good at picking up cheap points by lucky touches before a goal.

I think it’s entirely possible. Hey, if Douglas Murray could play 518 games in the Show, anything is possible. ;) :lr :hn

Brett, I still need the address you want your sticks sent to. I still have your 2 packages from last season as well.
