I picked up a 5 pack of these because the Oak Glen Cigar society named it their cigar of the year and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. So, far I've yet to have a band American Viking cigar from Tim Swnason's cigars daily out of Phoenix. I don't have much else to say about background other than what the link provides so let's start the review!
Wrapper: Wrapper is a barber pole with slight visible seams, A few small veins, buttery smooth, triple capped, and a tucked foot
Pre-Light/Draw: Pre-light aroma is very faint hay, Draw is perfect with just enough resistance

Very creamy finish right away, nuttiness, Sweet hay, very mild and smooth, vanilla, slight hints of cocoa, blonde roast coffee, cedar, Toastiness, Having just smoked a Perdomo Champagne this is very similar in flavors, a little more sweetness coming in at the end if the first 1/3rd,

Still has a smooth, creamy finish, Nuttiness, some white pepper now, cedar, baking spices, vanilla, toastiness, blonde roast coffee, small hints of cocoa,

earthiness, Still has a very smooth and creamy finish, white pepper, nuttiness, cedar, baking spices, vanilla, toastiness, blonde roast coffee, hay, Sweet tobacco,
Ash/Burn: Ash wanted to flake and fall off far too soon, The burn got a little wonky but only required a few small touch ups
Final Thoughts: My final thoughts on this is it's a very good mild, smooth cigar. Flavors weren't strong or punching you in the face but it was well balanced and blended. I was never bored with this cigar. I have a few more of these and can't wait to try more and see how they smoke. I would definitely recommend this cigar to all my mild cigar lovers and this is just a textbook example of one. I'd say buy a 5 pack and try for yourself. Well, I hope you enjoyed this little review of another American Viking cigar and try for yourself an impressive brand so far. God bless you all!
