it had me wondering. can i do this with mountain dew?

Dipping the cut end in something flavorful is a very old trick. I learned it in the 70s. with dark rum. I am sure that you can do it with Mountain Dew, but the flavor is light, so results may vary. I've done it with Dr. Pepper.
