have the winter blues? I absolutely hate this time of year. I'm constantly in a bad and irritable mood. Money is always tight, because of the Holidays and I can't even smoke which makes it worse. Ugh.....Sorry just venting, this is the kind of stuff that makes for sleepless nights lol. So who else is suffering from winter depression?
(ps no wise cracks from you warm climate folks :tg :D)

I'll refrain from the warm comments but I feel your pain about the holdiay blues. Sleepless night aren't worth it. Live life to it's fullest.

I wonder if they call it the winter blues because thats what color your fingers, toes, and nuts turn while shoveling piles of crap from the driveway?

Holiday financial woes always suck. Going through that now. Other than that, winter is great here. I like the cold. Thank God for the garage.

I didn't even overextend myself this year, it's just when the account gets below a certain threshold I start to get nervous (for no good reason). It doesn't help when basically I took 2 weeks off (work was extremely slow because of the holiday) and when you work straight commission, no work = no pay so I now feel like I'm behind now :hn

I can relate, David. When I went to KC last month, I knew I had to take 4 days off from the gym....Well, that 4 days turned into almost 3 weeks. Ate crappy, stayed up until 4-5AM every night, didn't do much but stay home when I was off work, became an insomniac....I think it is a mild form of depression.
I am over it now, back in the gym, getting to bed a bit earlier, getting back in the groove....hope you can too.

I've been getting the winter blues a little more this year than in the past. Part of the problem is I'm at work well before dawn, and when I leave the sun is just starting to set. While I'm there, I'm either in a windowless lab, or a windowless basement office. Sometimes I walk outside just to make sure the sky is still there.
And it's been cloudy, rainy, and dreary for awhile. I don't mind winter and cold so long as the sun comes out once in awhile.... I hate cold, cloudy, rainy misery.
