Who out there remembers their first ever box/bundle purchase? It would interesting to see what everyone started with!

After a few months of buy singles from a local B&M I bought myself a box of Sanch Panza double Maduro quixote’s. I still remember smoking my last one. It was heartbreaking lol

Monte 4's while visiting London probably 12 years ago, don't know what I paid but I'm guessing it was too much. I think I gave more of those away than I smoked, but I'm pretty sure I still have a couple singles buried somewhere

First box purchase was Macanudo Hyde Park back in 1993 (back when I thought keeping them in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator was the right thing to do )

I believe it was a box of Bauza Jaguars. That or Hoyo de Monterrey’s from the local JR’s store.

At one point Bauzas were excellent smokes, buttery and nutty.

Perdomo la tradicion Maduro robusto. I believe I paid around $85 on special at CI around 2003. I was amazed with that cigar. At that time I hadn’t seen or tasted anything like it. It felt like silk between my fingers.

Bruce, you reminded me that I split of bundle of Don Mateos with a coworker in the mid 90s and kept them in the refrigerator. No big deal, because they were amongst the worst cigars I've ever smoked right from the start. :r

Funny you bring up perdomo with that type of reaction. Because the first box I bought that ever really WOWED me. Was a box of Lot 23 maduros. Wish I had one right now. Can’t afford them now, but damn I loved them

I can't remember ever buying a full box of NC's I always just bought a hand full of whatever at a time. But I do know the first CC box I bought was Cuaba Divinos from the little LCDH in TJ before they closed it. :(

RP 1999 Churchills. I loved those things when I first started smoking. Haven't had one in years.

Mmmm Divinos! Haven’t had those in a while. I’ve heard recent production isn’t great. What’s your opinion?

Funny thing I have not smoked one in many many years. But back in 96 97 I thought they were great.

El Rico Habanos back in 2004.

I _still_ like them after all these years--but they need a few years to mellow out properly.

Fonseca KDT Cadet's in 2006. It had a 2003 box code and I was sooo happy.

I have never done it. I used to be a heavy smoker about ten years ago. And at that time, I received a few cigars as a gift. My friend brought them from his trip around Latin America. I am from https://worldscams.tv/united-states/lasvegasstrippers (https://worldcams.tv/united-states/las-vegas/strip). And my impression of these cigars was that they were too strong. I could not smoke them long or too often. So I cannot say I am a cigar fan.

Hopefully you are cool with me banning you then.
