How to Grind Concrete?

How do you recommend grinding or sanding down the casting marks on concrete as pictured below? I eventually want to paint concrete white, but want it to look better than that.

Ideas, tips?

get an angle grinder and concrete grinding pads. easily found online

I'd wash the wall, fill imperfections if any I don't want with patching mud, sand, then skim coat with stucco. Probably an acrylic stucco.

I've sanded concrete before, never again, heh.

grinder method works very well...be sure to wear a breathing apparatus and eye protection.

This. That stuff is nasty if inhaled. My advice would be to wet sand it to keep down the dust.

Thanks. Is the wet sanding just having a hose over it while grinding?
