So, do you ever go to your reputation to see who has bumped you and what the thread was where you were bumped.

It doesn't go back to the beginning of your account, just one page, but man...

What a trip through memory lane. I encourage everyone to do so. So many great memories of so many great brothers and sisters.

So I have to say that reading the title make me think of this song from Heavy Metal. The line "Won't you take a ride, ride, ride" always sounded like he was saying "back, back, back" to me... so that's why I flashed on that and now of course have to listen to the song.

I certainly agree with you, Jeff. However, I have fond memories of the phone call after Peter gave me this bump:

May you be so lucky as to receive on! It is a bump to your reputation when someone clicks on the "scales" at the left on the bottom of your name in a thread. Someone clicks on it and gives you positive reputation - or negative.

It is that someone likes a particular post you wrote.

See the smoke rings near the bottom of the avatar box? Bumps are one way these can be added. Folks used to pay more attention to new rings being awarded, but not so much in the last year or more. And some guys even disable their reps (note tiny blue box) for reasons of their own.
