We have it easy out here near Portland, OR. We really do not get the snow and cold temps of much of the rest of the country. So we don't get no bragging rights for smoking outdoors when it is "cold". But what the heck.

I love smoking in the “winter”. And Mark fibs — Portland does get (too much) snow, it’s too cold and too wet! :)

I moved to Florida to get away from that sh!t!

This was taken while watching football outside on my Lanai on Thursday — mid ‘70’s :D

I've been outside at night in the 30's recently and was quite comfortable. That comfort came from a large fire though lol.

Outside? I've heard of that. Where can I find some?

Technically not outside but forced to smoke in the garage when it’s really cold...actually not so bad today where I am but always more comfortable in here with my trusty space heater, whom I affectionately refer to as HAL.

I always tell people that compare cigarette smokers to cigar smokers that you won't find cigar smokers huddled in a corner on a freezing day to get their fix. If it's much below 60 I don't smoke. This being my parents' house, I can't/don't smoke inside. I had a smoking room in Ohio with a fan in the window and SWMBO indicated she was unable to smell smoke at all! I have gone close to six months without lighting up during the winter months in Virginia.

our smoke alarms go off over anything in the dorms so I don't think that'd work lol

48 degrees outside. Glad it’s that warm :) Gets rougher in Sacramento when it’s 34 and foggy. Pretty nice right now.

Gonna be in the 30's all week, so I'll have to build my fires just right. When it gets that cold, I may need a hood up or a sock hat, but with a good fire going it's not bad at all. I enjoy it because it makes me feel like I'm camping.....almost lol.

I live about seven miles from northern Kentucky, which still has some indoor places that are cigar friendly, or at least tolerant.

Got travel plans to the Cleveland area in a couple weeks though. Up there it's colder to begin with, and indoors smoking is limited to (some of the) tobacco stores. Last year I found one nice one near the hotel, and two others that were just old, small houses, rezoned for business. Not really well ventilated, to be kind.

Doing some homework now to come up with more options, because it's highly unlikely northern Ohio will have a December warm up.

Usually have a weekly cigar night with a buddy. We're a little more temperate here in Sin City than some places but it still gets chilly around January in the evenings. That's when my fire pit get stoked up.

Well at 8pm it was 80 out and had some BBF until the mosquitoes found me. Suppose to get a cold snap here the next three days, highs in the 50s and 60s and maybe one night below 30... can't wait, die you little bastards!

Was in Atlanta smoking on my brother in-laws deck 37*. Give credit to those who live in the north, that sh*t is cold. Now i'm back to normal Maui weather.

32 outside with an Illusion Holy Lance. One benefit of being this cold is that my beverage never gets warm lol.

Tues evening it was 33 with wind chill of 25. Thoroughly enjoyed a RoMa Craft CroMagnon Aquitaine EMH outside. I use a parabolic dish heater that heats (and lights up) half the neighborhood.

In true Southern Illinois style, I was out tonight in shorts and a tshirt smoking my stogie. It was about 60'ish at 10 pm. I even had a gray tree frog climb up onto my table that I keep my drink on. A few inches of snow on the ground a couple weeks ago, upper 20's last week, and 60 tonight. Typical here.

I'm not sure how I'm still going....worked 16 yesterday, slept 4 hours, went back to work, and as of right now I've been up for about 25 hours. That didn't stop me from smoking a stogie by the fire tonight though. 35 out and felt just fine. Now I'm going to pass out and sleep for about 12 hours lol

A balmy 38 degrees and snowing but the garage and a kerosene heater make it as good as it can get until we have an indoor lounge one day.

30°. Smoked a Epi De Luxe with a ceramic heater and a kerosene heater going. Was comfortable until the kerosene heater stopped.

It's 34* right now. I can get the garage to about 40* with the kerosene heater.

Thinking that maybe a nice petite coronas and maybe some Queen or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

I'm not tough- it has to be at least 60 for me to smoke outside, 50 to smoke by the sliding door with a fan blowing the smoke out and sometimes a heater by my feet.

I’m outside in my garage now, using a propane and ceramic heater to stay relatively warm. Just have to be mindful of the CO emitted by the propane.

It's been way too crappy to smoke outside around here. If it's not muddy or rainy, it's way too windy. Luckily I can retire to the man cave for cigars though.

I have a 3-car garage so leave the smaller door open for ventilation. The smoke and kerosene fumes seem to vent to the outside quite readily. If winters were colder here, I would get an infrared heater mounted to the ceiling and add a small exhaust fan. But that would take money from cigar buying, so is unlikely to happen any time soon.

A bunch of years ago I was smoking in the garage with a propane heater, and my lighter wouldn't work all of a sudden. Come to find out there wasn't enough oxygen in there to get the thing lit. That also explained how I was able to have a conversation with a soldering iron. Good times.
