And i didnt even use my new ashtray....

Make: Ashton

Model: Maduro

Size: Robusto

Origin: DR

Time: 50 minutes

Drink: H2o

Backstory:

The Cigar was given to me recently and i wanted to let it sit for a little bit. I have never smoked an ashton before, but was very familiar with the "lore" of how good people think they taste and are made.

I would like to point out that this is the second finest crafted stick that i have ever seen (first nicest construction would be the Drew estate Liga Privada).

There's something to be said about quality, and it showed through in every aspect of this stogie. The other part was that i cut it and the cut head was as tight as the area in which you would see when you vut a torpedo. So tight and consistent. MAybe its the brand new cutter... i bet its a combination.

BTW, i got it to stand up on its 3 inch ash... look at the last pics!!!

Here are some prelit pics:

The first punch:
Super flavor, no icky start. Just plain damn good smokin! So much smoke, perfect draw, not bitter. perfect burn, easy lighting. I sense a citrus floral twang with a chocolate undertone.

Smoke from both sides!

A little further in:

The flavor explodes to a much more woodsy cinsistent chocolate tone. The aftertase is wonderful.

Halftime:
Same consistent chocolate medium (in my opinion) body goodness with a little bit more of a powerful draw starting to claim king.

The Finish:

Quite possibly the best cigar i have had to date. The peppery intense finish left my mouth tingling wanting more. The aftertaste was perfect even 1 hour after smoking.

First review I've seen that made me want to go out and buy an Asthon...Not that I think they'd be bad, but usually reviews don't actually make me check my clock to see if the B&M is still open haha

Kodak Easyshare z710 point and shoot (about 220.00)

midrange, nothing special.. just gotta know how to use it.

I would reccomend an easyshare (with functions, not the small ones) to anyone.... honestly.. iwas shocked 3 years ago by my GF's... so i went to Bestbuy and bought one...

i could NOT be happier. its lasted me 3 years and i've taken probably 10,000 pics with it..

I don't think there were enough pictures of the cigar sitting on the ashtray. Next time fix that.

Seriously though, thanks for the review and nice pics!
