I have searched every Walmart, Walgreens and CVS in my area and not a single Ronson Jetlite can be found. Are these still being made? I see them on Amazon but they are $10 or more. I am getting ready to travel and I need a good cheap lighter that I wont mind losing!

Your friendly Wal-Mart representative here I just checked with our warehouse and the Ronson Jetlite is listed as a deleted item no longer carried in our market (Wisconsin) sorry brother :( I'd assume this goes for other markets as well.

Time to go pick up a few at my local walmart. Great lighters for the price.

Ruh ro! I just lately bought a Jetlites to try out, as my luck with other (inexpensive) torch lighters lately has been bad. Two stopped working, and I lost another one in the last ten days or so. So far the Ronsons are doing fine. Guess my next trip to WM will be a hunt for more. Thanks for the heads up.

Might I suggest the Cigar Traveller lighter? I have one and love it, turn a soft flame (Scripto) lighter into a touch, works great and comes apart so you can spread it out in your carry on. There are other versions out there and mb on amazon now but i had this bookmarked from when I picked mine up.

Last time I checked my local Walmart (about a month ago), they still had them on the shelves for around $ 4.00 apiece.

Try checking Walgreens online and they will point you to a store that is close to you that has them.

Great idea. Can you reference one from Amazon? What would I search for?

I just picked a couple up at Walgreens or Rite-Aid. Can't remember which but I think drug stores still have them.

I switched from Ronson to torches from DealExtreme years ago (thx, T.G.)

This is my current favorite:

One tank lasts for weeks - and I enjoy 3-6 cigars a day. There's lots of other good ones, too. Shipping takes about 2-3 weeks, but is free. You can try 10 different models for less than $40.

They seem to be all gone now. Looked around hard the last couple times, at different WM locations. Asked a manager, she indeed confirmed the Jetlite is no longer an inventoried item. I didn't bother to ask about getting them through WM online. Not that big a deal to me. Darn shame though.

You may be able to get them online from WM. You can set up an "in stock alert" at this page

I bought several Jetlites at my local Walgreens before I left NJ in mid-June, so less than 2 months ago. Had I known there were problems elsewhere I'd have grabbed a bunch more for youse guys. Sorry.

The good news is that this means they are still out there somewhere.

I didn't buy any, but I saw a few at my local Walgreens about a week or so ago.

Just now checked a Walgreen's. Good news? They have the Jetlites. Bad news? They're six bucks instead of the Walmart price of $3.50.

Not the end of the world, and what the heck, there are Walgreen's all over this part of the country, and I think most are open 24/7.

Yeah, I spent 6 bucks each for those I bought. Well actually I didn't, as I cashed in my Walgreens Rewards points and got a few bucks off.
