So, if you were going to choose one or the other, which gets your vote? Why?
I remember when Joya de Nicaragua came out with a new blend in 1996, it was excellent. I think these two are again new blends. I haven't tried either. Saw some of each the other day when I was in Appleton, love the Consul size.
Which would I like?

Depends on whether you are looking for a Full or a Med/full smoke. Antano is the full. Celebracion is the same blend with a different wrapper.

Antano hands down. Rich hearty flavors, the Celebration is milder and just meh.

I don't think so. Tha Antano Serie C is the same blend with a different wrapper. The Celebracion doesn't taste at all like the Antano, IMO.

Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion
Say hello to Antano’s new brother, Celebracion!
Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion is the latest premium from the makers of Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 – one of the hottest, strongest smokes on the market. Using the same Nicaraguan grown Habana-seed fillers and binders utilized by Antano, the Celebracion sports a super smooth, aged Habana-seed Criollo wrapper leaf. The end result is a complex, flavorful, medium to full-bodied cigar that’s easier on the palate than its older brother. A must try cigar, that’s priced just right.

The Antano is a much fuller, tastier smoke!!! If your going to get some, get them soon, as they have been discontinued.:c

I have to agree with Ratters, since he got me hooked on them, the Antano is a far better smoke. I love the Lancero.

Hmm...learn something new every day...
The Celebracion I had was Connecticut-shade-wrapped. So why the Antano Serie C?

I've only had the Antano and it was very yummy! As such I have a 5'er of the Celebracions coming in.

I've got a box of each -- sometimes I like the fuller-bodied Ananto, at other times, the medium bodied Celebracion is the right smoke. They are both quality cigars. :tu

My understanding is that the serie C is CT Shade
the Celebracion is criollo like bobarian just pointed out
and in response to the original question go with the antono it's my fave of the line

Yeah, and I was confused about the Criollo wrapper, because I'll be damned if the ones I've got aren't Connecticut shade...

I, too, have some of each on hand, and I really like them both. They have similar flavor profiles, but as many have noted, the Antano has more muscle, while the Celebracion is a bit more mellow.
Can't go wrong with either.

I like them both, just depends on my mood I guess.
