Time for a new lighter
If you carried only one lighter for both your cigars and pipes what would it be?

How goos is that one for $16? Would it be reliable in a field environment?

No clue. You could also use a Zippo and get the torch insert.

I was thinking about just using my zippo, without my pipe insert so I can light my cigars too

Just wanted to update on this topic. My wife surprised me with this lighter prior to deploying:

So far I love it, it does not hold as much fluid as a zippo but it definitely keeps the fluid a lot longer. Works great for pipes and so so for cigars but will do in a pinch when I can carry a torch.
