George, Jake the Snake, and Kamala were what made me a WWF fan. Rest in peace, George.

Used to like watching him rip the turnbuckle off and eat the little cubes of padding :lr

Rest in Peace, you magnificent son of a *****!

George was great, my boys loved him and Mr Fuji. We were regulars at the Garden and would wait for the wrestles to come out at end of the show.
George would growl at the kids and stick out his green tongue the kids would freak out.

RIP !!

And now there's news that Ivan Koloff has passed as well. What a celestial tag team they'd make.

Met this wrestler at a wrestling camp one of the nicest guys you could meet. Him and JYD were travelling together to a show. RIP sir.

That's sad news the greats are dropping like fly's, the
Superfly a few weeks ago.

My favorite wrestler was Walter Killer Kowalski. I knew Walter, he ran a wrestling school up on the North Shore.

Walter also loved to fish for Striped Bass on Cape Cod Canal. I would run into Walt, he would say John come up to the school and let me throw you around a bit. I would reply screw you you big Pollack.he would just let out a big laugh.

And you would never know it, but he had a Master's degree and continued to keep his job as a beloved school teacher, coached wrestling, football and track throughout his career.

RIP Mr. Steele
