I know there are a few folks on here that use Food Saver vacuum sealers. My wife gave me one as a Christmas gift and I really like it. My questions for those experienced with it: when it comes to buying replacement rolls of bags, do you use the Food Saver ones? Our is there another brand that works just as well?

I haven't used them myself, but I've heard good things about the Nutrilock bags you can get on amazon.

Nutrilock bags work great.

What they said. Also, Costco occasionally has a bundle of Food Saver rolls and bags on sale at a good price. I think it's three 11 inch rolls, two 8 inch rolls and some quart bags -- a good deal.

I use "FoodVac Bags" brand off amazon, i go through probably 400-600 bags a year. Rarely a failure.

Haven't tried the Nutrilock bags, although from a glance, they might be the same bags. Prices seem comparable.

Amazon.

A few people sell rolls in different width's. Pro quality and really cheap prices. I have a commercial level vacuum sealer and use to different width's. Don't waste your money at Costco on bags and I love Costco...
