Hey guys,

I was just wondering what these little beige dots were on the wrapper of my CAO L'Anniversaire Cameroon Belicoso.

As you will see via photos one is right above the foot and the other is about an inch or so below the band.

Those aren't beetle holes or mold are they?? I'm thinking that they are just cosmetic imperfections in the wrapper or water spots, but I wanted to ask here and make sure that it's safe to smoke.

Not beetle holes, could be a little mold or plume, do they rub off? If not probably some leaf imperfections.

My money is on water spots, if there's no hole and it doesn't go away by lightly rubbing your finger over it then smoke away :ss

Well the one near the foot didn't go away but I was able to scrape off a bit of the one near the band.

Had I tried to scrape the rest off, the wrapper would have torn a bit.

Sounds like water spots or just leaf imperfections then right??

No, it has all the appearance of contamination by ricin, which is highly toxic in even the most minute of doses. For safe disposal you should send it to me, and to be extra careful also send me any other cigars that may have come into near contact with this one.

The last time we voted, half the country didn't take it so well.

Those are "Sun Spots" which are caused by a drop of dew on the wrapper when exposed to sun light. They're good sign that the leaf was exposed to sun light while growing. GOOD indication.

Indeed. The water drop acts like a small magnifying glass that concentrates the sunlight fading the natural color of the leaf. Kinda like a bad boy burning ants with a lens.
