Has anyone tried these yet?
The source is surprising, a well respected purveyor of my favorite cigars.
Here are some photos, there are three sizes available, robusto,(4.88 x 50) sublime,(6.5 x54) and torpedo.(6.13 x 52) The prices are modest, around 5.00 each delivered.
The aromas are of very well aged tobacco, these are Nicaraguan according to the handy ten packs.
What you cannot get from the pics is to feel the weight of these, and feel the texture of the wrappers.
Excellent construction stands out in these cigars. I am looking forward to trying these after a few days rest............

The a Nicaraguan, but in a milder blend. Sounds like a nice smoke.

After two days of hurricane,I decided to grab an Aguila and head for the cave.I chose the torpedo.
Construction was spot on,only took one brief touch up near the last third.
Interesting aroma pre light, deep cured tobacco, taste was sweet tobacco, fresh.

First third was a riot of floral and spice aromas, layers of rich exotic scents.
The flavors were of oak and good leather, barley or oats, smooth mouth feel.
A lot going on, many components.

Second third built strength and the aromas got more woodsy and deep, oak leaf and tobacco with traces of cedar.
The flavors were more dark coffee and roots, like it was developing and not quite where it was going, but flavorful and enjoyable overall.

The last third the floral essence showed up briefly, and the flavors cleared up and were sweet tobacco, oak leaf and dark coffee, with a note of something savory.

This was a very tasty cigar,I enjoyed it for several reasons.

First, it was very well made, and this lead to it showing well and tasting its best.

Second, the flavors and aromas in the first third were compelling, a treat.

Third, I smoke primarily CCs, and this cigar did not blast my palate.
It was more full and had more power than I am used to, but this is in its favor for me.
Sometimes I want a cigar with some muscle that is not overpowering.

I could see these in my rotation very easily.Especially for a cigar ROTT.

I am going to keep these for a while, age some in the cello, and some in a cab,I think there is a lot of development ahead in these,I have aged many cigars that had good components young, but really had much more to offer.
It would be a shame to smoke these too soon.

I would smoke this cigar anytime ,and look forward to smoking the next size........
