My employer is good about letting us occasionally work from home. I've been working on the screen porch, and have had a few cigars as well. I call this a win! I've had a LSdL Delirios, a Punch RS 12, a My Father robusto, and a Tampa Sweethearts maduro Rothschild is on deck. Nespresso coffee on the side.

Nice! I work from home a lot as well. I get more done with a cigar than at almost any meeting

This will be one of the low spots of starting over at a new place, after 8 years I pretty much worked at home when ever I wanted and I was always much more efficient at home, at work people tended to stop by and shoot the bull with me constantly or I would go to them, so it really cut down on my production.

Nice! I wish they would allow us to work from home. Even if it was only a couple days a month. Would be nice to get a break from the office setting a little.

I did it too for a couple of years and loved it. I too was much more efficient. Last three years at a bank and no go on working from home. Miss it. Guess I just need to retire.

Previously I worked from home full time for about 2 years. It was great. Had a nice setup. Now I tend to WFH maybe 1 to 2 days a week. I need to get myself a screened in porch.

I used to work from home a lot and it was great. Now that I am unemployed I work from home full time :)

Been working 90% from home for last 7 years.

Can feel like a prisoner in my own home. Dog loves it; she gets walked like 5-6 time a day.

I've worked from home with a couple of companies for that last 11 years. I can do the same thing at home as one would do in the office. You cut down alot on commuting and saving gas when working from home:D

Hey, me too! Hopefully, that will be rectified soon. Enjoying my time off though...

Yep! Both of mine love that they get out 4 to 5 times a day too!

Working from home today. Got sunburned on my legs so bad I can't even put pants on....figured that wouldn't go over too well in the office.

I've always hated working from home...I prefer walking over to deal with someone face to face -- meetings by phone are much more challenging for me...in fact, I'm here typing this while pretending to participate in an 'important' meeting :)

Thing that sucks about working from home is that I am always working!

I wouldn't want to work from home; my wife is there!
The fact that I can smoke at work helps.

I'll smoke in my office, but seldom do... Now that you mention it, I think I'll have a cigar a little later!

There is that, I would find myself answering emails right up until I was asleep or even working on things to either send out that night or have ready for the next morning.

I avoided working from home for a long time for just that reason. It was good to have that option though when Holly was going through chemo and needed me there. I definitely had to be careful not to over do it though.

I still do it on occasion, and a cigar is often my co-worker...

I've been fortunate enough to work out of the house for the last 15 years - sometimes anything - including doing the dishes is more interesting than work - luckily it all worked out and I can have a cigar morning noon or night which now preempts any thoughts of working!

I came home early today and worked out on my deck. It's nice making calls with your feet up with a cigar in your hand. I do need to be in the office regularly to interact with my associates, but it's sure a nice change of pace to work from home.

It's a gorgeous afternoon and I'm working from home while waiting for the cable repair guy to come. This doesn't hurt a bit. Smoking a Hemingway Classic, feels a little decadent.
