Oh wonderful. I'm supposed to fly into Myrtle Beach at 12:15 on Saturday from Charlotte. It's looking like a delay already. :(

I miss growing up in Florida and going through all the Hurricanes, Andrew was the year my brother left for college and they evacuated Key Biscayne, that's how you remember important dates in history! Also much better than f'ing earthquakes!

I'll take a pass on both, thank you. ;)
We slept though most of it. The wind was pretty snappy here around 6 am, I was awakened by the unmistakeable sound of electricity arcing. I looked outside and saw that a tree limb had fallen on the power lines and was shorting. It finally fell off and the funny thing was we had power through all of that and then about 20 minutes after the limb fell off we lost power for about 7 hours. All in all we fared very well.
