I am suddenly reminded of The Twilight Zone episode with the report of the spaceship crash, a bus goes into a frozen lake and everyone is stuck in a little diner trying to figure out which one of them is an alien, of course it's social collapse as they all turn on each other. The title, "Will the Real Martian Please stand Up?".

Got a hell of a prize from Neil today! In the box were four things I like - cigars, stickers, candy, and a tool. Awesome selection of sticks with some tasty maple candy (my daughter and son seem to enjoy, too). Stickers of the man himself and one of the neatest tools around, The Redeemer! Prongs on one end to get that last little nub and a cool-ass draw tool on the other, all encased in a healthy aluminum tube. How did he know I needed this? Neil, you're a king among men!! Thanks you so much for the wonderful prize!!!

It's not Chimney Rock near the Nebraska border on the Oregon Trail, that's certain.
It's not Chimney Spire in N Calif.
It'snot Monument Valley.
It's not the spires at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs ...

The terrain makes it look like Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, but I'm betting that it is in Canada. Reminds me a bit of the Bugaboos, but the spires are too far apart. East of the Rockies is probably a safe bet, but where ... ?

Desperate guess: Stagecoach Rock?

I'M NUMBER TWO! I'M NUMBER TWO! What a shock! Then again, many of you have felt for years that I am number two. :D

Here's a funny thing. Google has released its stats on the most-searched spellcheck word for each state. They are largely more common words, which makes sense, since fewer folks would search for obscure words. What does NOT make sense are many of the words on the list . . . such as "sense" (Oregon). One can forgive several states struggling with "pneumonia", but why do five states all have problems with "beautiful"? Still, the weirdest of all is Wisconsin, where Cheeseheads most often look up the one word you'd think they'd know well . . . namely, "Wisconsin". WTF? :r
