View Full Version : How do you like your Southern Comfort?

I was looking around on the internet the other day for ways to mix some of my favorite Southern Comfort alcohol. Normally I just drink it on the rocks and whether it's 80 or100 prf.

One of my fav's I found was the sicilian kiss shot (soco & amarreto) that I tamed into a drink by adding a decent splash of canada dry gingerale.

Anyone with anything decent that they drink regularly? :r

I like my SoCo straight... or with a bit of Cherry Pepsi.

SoCo straight is too sweet for me, so I mix it with club soda. Cuts the sweetness a bit. :al

I never really got into SoCo, but I know some who enjoy it on the rocks mixed with a little orange soda.

I've had club soda, does cut down on the sweetness.

Cherry Pepsi and Orange Soda both sound decent, I'll have to try those out this week!

I like it neat or with a bit of tonic and lime wedge. The tonic really cuts down on the sweetness.

As far away as possible.
Bad experience during high school still lingers, 25 years later. Can't even smell the stuff without feeling woozy.

Soco and lime is classic!

I can't do it neat, I'm a wimp and need the ice to make it cold.

Another member does it with orange soda, now I really need to try it!

I had my first taste of it last week. Too sweet for me. I'll stick with bourbon, scotch, rye, and beer.

To sweet, switch to straight bourbon.
