Some Grabs From Cruise

Just got back from a cruise and brought back a few goodies:

Some duty free sipping rum. I've never had the FdC 18, but love the 12 so I figured it couldn't be a bad grab. I wouldn't have picked up the Abuelo (great name, BTW) at all as I'd never tried it before but they were giving out samples and it's pretty damned smooth and tasty.

And my wife grabbed these as a gift for me (have I mentioned I'm a lucky man before? :D ), the JW Explorer's Club Collection (which is apparently a Duty Free Store Exclusive) and a MacLeod's "Scotch Whiskey Trail Tour" sampler, with a bottle from each main region of Scotland.

Very nice! I remember my first trip through duty free I saw how keep smokes were (when I smoked cigs) and was drooling, so I'm guessing it's the same for drinkers. :lr

I've had two of them and they're very good. I'd put the quality up there with the JW Platinum. Each one has had it's own character and spiciness, and finish. I'd recommend trying them with no hesitation.
