I just kinda wanted to see what's out there.. a life hack is anything you do , or have done to make life easier for you, this could be anything from saving time by brushing your teeth in the shower to quick fixes around the shop. I'm always looking for ways to simplify my life, so I thought I'd start a thread.
My first contribution will be something I tried recently. I didn't want to wear my new boots daily to wear them in so the week before I wanted to wear them I stuffed them with trash bags filled with water and stuck them in the deep freezer. This method actually worked very well!! When it froze the water expended and stretched the boots well. It also saved me the time and blisters of 'breaking in' my new boots.

I don't own a portable device or cellphone and I'm not on Facebook, Twitter or anything like that; just this and one or two other places like this.

Soooo simplifying your life = no technology? That works ..also you're not being tracked constantly like everyone else , thanks for contributing.

Here's another random one, store your Peanut Butter upside down so the oils collect in the bottom, when you use it you won't have nasty oil in top.
I can pee and fart at the same time.

Store all nuts in the freezer. Keeps them from ever tasting rancid and they don't eat "frozen". You can eat them right out of the freezer.

Better hope that's a fart.

Hang your wrinkled shirt in the bathroom while you take a shower. The steam will help get them out.
Put your phone in airplane mode to make it charge faster.

Farts are supposed to be lumpy, right?

It's multi-tasking. What's so bad about that?

Personal choice - I started wearing my hair really short for the past couple of years. No brushing, no air dryer; wash and you're good to go. No gels, no sprays, no shampoos. I go to the gym a lot and I like to ride with my truck window down. No hair management has definitely had it perks. I do have to spray my head with sunscreen now, but that's no problem.
I also changed my grass cutting process. I now mulch and gave up bagging. A little more wet grass clippings sticking to your feet, but it frees up bagging hassles.

Been mulching my lawns since the late 80's. I'll only bag the clippings if there is an event on the lawn later that day. Mulching helps keep the lawn from drying out faster.

I got one...
When I put my shoes on, I put my slippers right where my shoes were.
Then when I take my shoes off, I just put my slippers on and put the shoes right there where the slippers were.
This way I never lose my slippers.
The shoes I don't really care about, but I get all pissy if I can't find my slippers.

On a similar note... I always put my shoe trees on my bed where I sit to put my shoes on, so they are right there when I get home...

Did you know you can use Doritos to start your campfire?

Funny thing is that until I got married, there was almost no trace of my existence; no license, no car, no bank account, no credit, no phone. Just my military records and tax forms. Some family members hired a detective to find me (long story) and they couldn't. I'm not anti-technology, hell, I was a Submarine-er; I'm just extremely selective about it.

I fold my toilet paper prior to use and get much more coverage than those that are "wadders". If you're a wadder, time to switch sides. A better life awaits you...

Soo if you own an Apple TV, and keep losing the little remote..you can program your main tv remote under general settings to control your Apple TV..I just found this out and programmed all my remotes, cause I lose that little one all the time!

Have to be in deep woods during summer? Wear long pants and blouse your boots attach flea/tick dog collars on the bottom of pant/boot. Now just put repellant on your arms and hair, and worry not. (I do this when we are tracking in the woods, I keep the collars in my car for this purpose)
