He's one of the great characters in Breaking Bad. A man with absolutely no conscience.
Re-defines sleazy lawyer.
I'll have to catch this one - thanks Adam.

I just don't get it but can't stop watching. Watched both nights in a row. Good tv but I am like who the hell is the first guy in black and white working at Cinnabon and then who is this other lawyer guy? Confusing but it has me hooked.

I've got some thoughts, but just like BB, they're gonna make you watch to figure out. Guess I'll keep following the bread crumbs for now

I believe the b/w is Saul after BB and what his life has become, but like Sterns said we will just have to wait and see, and Neil mentioned he has no conscience......as of right now he does have one (the two skateboarding guys in the desert with Tuco and how he couldn't enjoy his date afterwards) he isn't Saul yet.....he's still Jimmy.....for now.

I have watched the 2 part intro show, and the 2nd episode so far. Really, really, really slow, but I am going to keep watching it.

Completely missed the cinnabun reference from BB until I saw this in an article I was just reading (http://consumerist.com/2013/10/09/breaking-bad-references-reach-real-cinnabon-in-the-real-omaha/):

After Monday's episode, I'm starting to think I'm gonna really like this show. The whole thing with the billboard was genius :tu

Yeah, Saul is a great Con-artist......can't forget that, that scene with the "butthole" guy was great too.

so... two episodes left? Love how last week's went, the ending was a bit odd but it should be an interesting finale

I gave up on it after 3 episodes. I mean, holy hell... it is so slow.
This could be a half hour show. No need for an hour.

yes it definitely started out slow, and honestly I watch it a half hour at a time (mainly because I fall asleep before 11), but the last couple episodes have been better than the first couple in my opinion

Breaking Bad had a slow start too if you ask me. I think that's just the way Vince what's his name gets characters developed to get you hooked.

I'm digging this still......love the writing, and cinematography.....I keep rooting for Jimmy, then I forget he eventually has to fail to become Saul.....sigh, poor Jimmy

I thought it was incredibly slow at first, but kept with it because my son asked me to watch with him. To me, it's much better now and I agree with the comment above that Vince Gilligan develops his characters slowly, over time, but he does a great job of it. I'm really enjoying it now and the show on Mike's history a couple weeks back was fantastic.

You remember from Breaking Bad when Jessie was referring to Saul as a criminal lawyer, emphasizing that Saul was a CRIMINAL lawyer. Whatever happened had to be big. Maybe as big as "Heisenberg"'s betrayal of his family, perhaps?
